Privacy Policy

Information we collect

None. The app has no sign-up, no login, and no server of our own. We never see how you use the app, what you look up, or anything about your device.

Information stored on your device

So the app can remember your preferences between sessions, the following is saved locally on your device only:

• Emojis you save to your favourites
• Notes you write yourself
• Which emojis you have viewed, and your quiz scores
• Settings such as dark mode, text size and content level
• The date you first opened the app, used to run the free trial
• Whether you have purchased the full version

This information never leaves your device. We cannot see it. Deleting the app removes all of it permanently. You can also clear it at any time using Settings → Reset progress inside the app.

Purchases

If you choose to buy the one-time unlock, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or handle your payment details. Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction. The app only learns whether a purchase exists, so it knows to unlock the content.

Internet access

The app works fully offline. The only time it uses the internet is when you tap to purchase or restore a purchase, which contacts Apple's servers. No other network requests are made.

Children

The app does not collect data from anyone, including children. It contains no advertising and no external links to third-party content. A Clean content mode in Settings hides informal slang explanations, which may be useful for younger readers and classroom use.

Third parties

The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software of any kind. No data is shared with anyone, because none is collected.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
